First Week - Only lost 3 lbs

Hi everyone, am a bit worried as have only lost 3 pounds on my first week, it seems most people have a big number when they start? Also although I'm drinking plenty of water have been getting headaches, any advice on these issues please? Alanna xxx

Hi Alanna,


Do you have much to lose?  Most people with more to lose, lose a higher amount in the first couple of weeks.  I have 3 stone to lose and i only lost 4lb in my first week, so it's normal.


Try not to focus too much on other peoples losses, as everyone is different and everyone's body reacts differently.


Well done on 3lb and keep it up, dont let it demotivate you.  It all adds up!

Thanks for your quick response - have 3 stone to lose  so thats probably it! And its three pounds closer to the goal - you have cheered me up :)

Time of the month can make a big difference too......


Can u talk us through ur average day of food and drink intake

Typically having shake in the morning, snack around ten (half cup of berries or small apple) celeb bar for lunch, celeb snack bar around 3pm, dinner at around 7 (steamed fish and veg/ chicken and salad) and then another snack 8.30 pm (half cup of berries). Drinking 2 and half litres of water, no coffee or tea as I dont like it and no diet drinks. 


Not time of the month at the moment - would probably have lost nothing at all if that were the case haha! 


Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated ladies xxx
