the reason that there isn't a list on here is due to all the info being in the books that you get when you get your box of shakes. There is a lot of valuable info in the book. If you have a look through that you will find the comprehensive list of foods that you can have and also avoid. If by chance the box didn't have the book then the stockist should be able to supply you with one as well.

Is Beetroot an allowed. I struggle with veg as garden peas and carrots are pretty much the only veg i will eat. Cannot find anything to say if it is a an allowable, or an avoid. x

hi wifey, Raw is about 8g per 100g carb so that is allowed and I guess the tinned stuff is just whatever they put in there. From what I understand tinned is high in sugar however that probably does depend upon brands. I prefer raw grated on salad really yummy and you stil get the natural goodness without boiling it and stripping it of its goodness. Hope this helps to answer your question on beetroot.

hi ellie, yes you can have mayonnaise. The rule is if it is 10g of carbs per 100g then you are allowed to have it. I would however not have a whole lot of it though just enough to have some taste. So about a dessertspoon should be ok. The same applies with ketchup, although I did think that ketchup was quite high in sugar.

So are we just not allowed potatoes at all? I'll be finishing my first week Saturday and I have been really strict, but I am really missing my favourite food potatoes

Are we allowed any foods at all that we are supposed to avoid??

Even once a week? (Like I mean, one meal with potatoes)
