Hi had a fantistic first week and lost an amazing 8lbs on day 5 of 2nd week and had a sneaky weigh in and have lost another 1 lb. What have others lost on week 1 and 2 ? would love to know want to lose another 5lbs !

Well done on your weight loss, it feels great when you check the scales doesn't it!
I weighed myself on monday and had lost a stone in 2 and a half weeks. 7 lbs the first week then 7lbs for the following week and a half. I am made up! Been sticking to the diet well, drinking lots of water and going to they gym 3 times a week. It definitely works so I am sticking on it for the next 6 weeks then I will see where I am up to.
How are you finding it so far?

Just a quick 1, i started on wednesday so havent a clue if i have lost anything yet......
However i was wondering if you could help me a little?
Have any of you tried sucking on a boiled sweet rather than having a snack? im not keen on the snacks and just thought if they are allowed that would be good or do you think it is a bad idea??

I haven't had any sweets (although I love haribos and would love some right now!). I think if they are sugar free they might be okay? Just check the grams of carbs on the back of the pack. If they aren't sugar free I'm guessing the carbs will be high. Allowable snacks that I eat are
sugar-free strawberry jelly (I buy it in little pots in tesco about 40p a pot)
muller light yoghurts (great if you freeze them for 3/4 hours they are like ice cream)
apple
handful of nuts
30g cheese
small salad with tuna
Hope that helps a little? How are you finding the diet so far? I found the first few days the hardest, my head killed and I was a bit light headed but after that I've been fine. Good luck with it.
Hi Kirstie, i feel a little light headed thats why i got the boiled sweets cos i think my suger is low, but looking on the packet i dont think ill be having anymore...........

I think CS makes you feel light headed during the first week because your body is adapting to a new diet, I think the shakes/bars contain enough sugar to keep you going so prob best if you dont' have any more to achieve optimal results. I'm not sure about the muller rice yoghurts I'm guessing they are high in carbs but the normal muller light yoghurts are fine to have. I am coming up to 3 weeks tomorrow and really into it now. I've had 2 times where I've cheated since I started, one at the end of the first week where it was my friends hen do and I had cocktails, vodka and wine but ate chicken and veg when we went out for a meal and then the next day I was rough so I had egg, sausage and mushrooms (no toast) and fruit juice and then a cajan chicken salad that night but I cut out shakes that day altogether. Then on the monday morning, I was back on it and it didnt really effect my weight loss. I think it's fine to havetreats every now and then as long as you get back on it the next day and maybe exercise a bit harder or something. I find that going to Rowlands chemist to be weighed motivates me and they give me a break down of my body fat etc so I can watch it going down!
Thats amazing Kirstie well done its areal achievement and thaks for the tips on snacks I absolutely love nuts scared to buy any though as would honestly eat the whole pack! i have been sticking to it food and water wise but do love a glass of wine and already had 6 glasses this week and having a night out with the girls tonight!! Do you think I would be better having gin or vodka slimline tonics? as it must have less calories than wine Nat the first days are the hardest I felt really fuzzy headed and spaced out, it does get a lot easier and when you lose weight its the best motivator. Well im going to share a btl of red with my hubby tonigh, but im not having any snacks today so i hope it will help to balance it out.

Thanks Nat, You can do it I bought cs last year had one shake and gave up so ended up giving my starter pack to one of my friends ( only a few months ago)as i thought I would never use it. She used it and lost 12 lb in 3weeks I was so envious I decided to give it a go as I have a history of trying lots of different diets but this is really working for me. Keep in touch and let me know how you get on. Going to stick to vodka !!

I think in the handbook that comes with the starter pack it says you can have 2-3 small glasses of dry white wine or red wine a week so I'm guessing that would be better than vodka? I had vodka and diet coke when I went out but drank loads of water in between.
I think if you slip up a few times but get back on it its fine. Good luck for your first weigh-in! xx
